Why do I have a lack of caring for my friends?

I would ask myself if that is how I would like to be treated by your pairs, if so then, I would worry. Why would you not even just want to stay friends with these girls as no doubt they are attractive. Who doesn't like to have many attractive girls as friends ? You do not say your age, as it maybe your are not very mature for your age. How would you feel if something bad happened to you, and no one cared or would help you. I also do not know how you would have a meaningful relationship with anyone, as I think it would be a one way track. Always you. But if you start to take interest in other people and care about them you may learn to have some empathy for others. Do your parents not care for you for you to have this attitude in life.
