I've been volunteering at this rehabiliation center for kids with special needs and I LOVE it! I've known I want to teach for quite a while. Now I'm wanting to do special education. So all you special education teachers out there; do you like your job? what does a normal day consist of? what advice would you give to a person thinking of pursuing this career?

My 'pothead' boyfriend forgot my birthday?

OK first of all, my boyfriend is a pot head! And smokes weed like every day...Morning, daytime and night. I think hes pretty clever for a pothead though, so yeah im like 2 weeks older than my boyfriend so remembering my birthday shouldnt of been a problem for him and i reminded him quite often too. He even commented on his EX girlfriends msn profile page, saying happy birthday when it was her birthday so i never thought he would ever forget mine, we have been dating for a year! And i never brought it up either, because i thought he already knew and i dont wan to act greedy or anything. I even waited for a 'late birthday msg' but he never gave me that either, so after 2 weeks it was HIS birthday and i said happy birthday to him through email...i wasnt going to but then i thought maybe he will click on that he missed mine? But he never! I had to tell him, and he told me that he FORGOT, and i said how can u forget my birthday and he replied 'baby you know that im a pothead, i forget things' he used this excuse on me, fair enough hes a pothead but how can he forget mine and remember his EX girlfriends? Is being a pothead an excuse for forgettn my birthday? He even sent me another email saying...'baby i feel bad i couldnt send u a late bday msg cos my internet connection wasnt working' But i saw him comment on his friends profile? What is going on with him....Im really confused..And i even sent him an email 3 days ago he still has not replied back! Wot should i do?

They do say that opposites attract and I find this stereotype very true. My ex boyfriend and I were opposites and we became more a like as we move further into our relationship. Creatine after Cardio workout?

I alternate my workouts each day with weight training day one then cardio training day two and so on like that. MY cardio doesn't just consist of running it is yoga plyometrics and mixed martial arts. All three get a great cardio vascular workout. Should I be taking creatine after these cardio workouts?

Part time jobs are probably more plentiful than you think. All restaurants, retail chains, movie theatres, etc. are always hiring. Being a waiter or waitress is a great job for college students because it pays mostly cash and can average up to $20 an hour including tips or more and the hours are almost always flexible. How to tell my dad I know he is a pothead?

I have known my dad smokes for a good year and a half. I always try to get him to admit it, like when he goes to the store* looking normal everyday, just to get a few things and comes back hours layer with bloodshot eyes talking all slow and stoner like and reaks of pot. He claimed that the gy was selling him a new car radio, even though tue gy left like a minute after I got home and there was a blunt roach in the ashtray. His habit is not a weekend thing or even a few times a week, he is stoned nearly 24/7. His eye drops are used up in like a week. It is so bad that when I didn't have any weed to smoke (back when I used to smoke) I could get ugh with the shake left on his bathroom counter. I also am constantly loaning him money for this and that that never gets paid back to me. And the worst part of it all is it's not the constantly smoking thing that bothers me the most, it's the lying about it and being irresponsible and driving on it and with pipes in the car. First off, don't judge me for anything I have to say. I'm attempting to quit so you should be proud over anything. I'm 19 and have been smoking marijuana regularly since I was 13 (At that age it was about once a week which I've smoked ounces at a time). Since I was young I've just been trying to find ways to get high. Some people played baseball/video game, I smoked weed. When I was 16 my marijuana was confinscated, at 17 I got my first possession of marijuana charge, when I was 18 I got my second possession of marijuana charge... After that I was put on 6 months drug screening. Well with my pothead instincts I thought I can get around these drug tests. I was taking clean pee in and pouring it in the bottle. Well I was on my 5th drug test and there was a male supervisor and I couldn't pour the pee into the cup so I was forced to use my own and fail. Well I drank a lot of water as a back up plan and hoped I diluted it. Almost a month went by when I got pulled over with a warrant for my arrest. They said that I had missed court... they sent my court notice to my old address so I gained two new charges 1) Contempt of Court - Failure to appear and 2) Idk what 2 really is lol... But whatever failing a court ordered drug test is lol. Anyway I'm caught up in this sht now cuz I havent went to court for it yet My court date is June 6. The point is I have been busted for a marijuana related charge for the past 4 years and during that whole 4 years the longest I quit smoking was 9 days. So what I'm asking of you guys is to help me come up with some way to quit smoking, maybe a hobby to get interested in or whatever you can think of. Honestly my TWIN sister always tries to get me to smoke pot and i have never tried it even once. You aren't responsible for the decisions your sibling makes. Even if you did somehow force him the first time, he is completely responsible for what he chose to do once it was over. My sister's personality is completely different now and yes it is becuz of the pot. some ppl can handle it and somewhat maintain their life while others cant. While I think that it's really wrong that you let him smoke pot, I don't think that's the only cause of his behaviour. I mean, there must be something else behind that, pot doesn't transform people into complete others. You should talk to him seriously and tell him that he's going overboard by doing all this. Maybe he's trying to be a rebel or something like that, it hits a lot of people during their teenage years, but it never lasts that long.

It sounds very melodramatic and kind of fake. There are a number of grammar mistakes, and way way way too many commas. Just FYI, writing long, descriptive passages about someone feeling sad is generally considered bad writing, as is having the character's thoughts be in quotations. If you're not going to include any specific details, or use the character's voice in the thoughts, then you shouldn't focus on internal "OH LOOK AT ME I'M SO DEEP AND EMOTIONAL" passages.

GO FOR IT! I love being a DJ and think it is a great gig if you really enjoy music. theres free software online if you want to remix and such but you should get a mixer or controller, because they make learning and understanding really easy. I would check out Numark as that is what I use. Depending on your budget for this I would suggest that you look into getting a good controller and play around. and then once you feel comfortable get a gig and build your reputation up. So I went and had an ultrasound thinking I was 7 weeks and all that they saw was an empty sack. There's no evidence that cleanses or B-100 pills work, and the later could be toxic if you take them long enough. Just get enough sleep, eat healthy, drink enough water (but not absurd amounts), and you'll probably be fine. But really, assuming you're still in high school, you shouldn't be smoking weed anyway, because it increases your risk of later developing schizophrenia. The older you get, the less severe this effect is, and by the time you're in your 20s, it's gone, or effectively gone. So if you want to blaze, that's cool, but wait until your brain has developed a bit more, okay?

I'm 17 and basically my dad has hated me my whole life. He puts no effort and ignores my efforts?

I have been with my boyfriend for going on 7 months. The first few WERE amazing and he has been loyal and pretty honest. We only live 7 minutes apart, but with college and work we wouldn't see each other every day, but we called every day. 3 months ago, his job started cutting his hours. I was hired a month after that at a salon, and I work 30+ hours a week in comparison to his 20. I work day shifts 10-6 or 9-5 and he works evenings 5-9:30. He used to make effort to see me with his busy work schedule, and even though I work now I still try to see him and call him when I know he is home, but half the time he doesn't pick up, and during my 3 days off he doesn't work until 5, but he won't even bother to spend even a few hours with me before he heads to work. The thing that gets me is, I'll cook for him, or offer to treat him to dinner, or plan something and he'll disappoint me. But I've gone to his shows (he and my brother play in a band) I've went to his little brother's baseball games, visited his grandma with him, and nearly every weekend his mother disrupts our plans by asking him to pick up her and her friends then drop them off at a club, 3 hours later go to pick them up from a diner, wait for them to finish eating and drive all 3 drunks home and by the time he and I get back from doing this the night is over and we spent 0 quality time together. We see each other maybe 3 times a week AT THE MOST, but he will drop our plans to drive his pothead dad around or his drunk mom to the club. I could understand if they paid for his college, his car insurance, his phone, medical...anything, but he supports himself and these people do little to nothing for him. I have fed him, bought him clothes he needed, drove him places, etc. He didn't even get me a card for my birthday or come to my party. He used to treat me to dinner or movies when he could, but I always drove us everywhere we went. I can't even get him to do something free with me. What is happening?

Ok here is all the details.. The biological father of my son was an abusive, pothead that I finally got away from when I was like 4 months pregnant. Why is it so hard for me to get muscle definition?

First, my diet is definitely in check. I eat 6 frequent meals a day consisting of chicken breast, brown rice, oatmeal, egg whites, sweet potatoes, and tons of veggies. I don't season anything so there is no salt and as less fat *** possible. And my workouts are crazily intense... I don't think they're intense i know it for a fact as i actually know how to lift unlike some who skip around muscle groups orbench everyday. I also do 1 hour of the stairmaster everyday. I'm trying to get into bodybuilding but i just cant seem to get the definition.

My dad found a school that may be better then the school I attended with my mom. It's almost like a private school. The school has great opportunities. My father then filed for custody in April in hopes to have me in his custody by summer. In the mean time, early June, me wanting to live with my father for so long had such an impact on my mom, she texted my dad and said she's done. My dad and I win. I can pack my stuff up and live with him. She doesn't have the strength anymore. She watched me as I packed everything in my room and I wasn't allowed to leave anything. The court date ended up being near the end of June. After two weeks of living with my dad, the court date rolls around. In court my mother gets a lawyer and says she never granted custody. In the court they came to agreement that she'd have split custody in the summer, and my fathers custody is only temporary during the school year. I was crushed when I found out about every other week in the summer. I do not have many friends where my mom lives and I'm miserable. I'm so much happier in my hometown with my dad. You shouldn't have to be high, drunk, or otherwise impaired to want to be with someone. As for talking about other things, I suggest developing other interests and hanging out with new people. Not bashing your precious weed, just saying that if it's all you talk ever about, you really need to reevaluate a few things. Go do something else for a while, get a hobby, talk to people who don't smoke weed. You can still smoke it, but you'll find that you have more to talk about. It's not stopping, it's using it more moderately so that the habit you described doesn't interfere with you living your life.

Assault at work by another worker?

I was assaulted physically at work by another worker , have witnesses put letter of complaint into management , was told worker got final warning on there record, however now find out another complaint about verb-all assault ongoing, feel let down by management as I still feel worried at work the worker may assault me again , has a history of aggressiveness in workplace. I smoke pot every other weekend. The last guy I was with had a problem with it, although when I tried to talk to him about it he'd deny anything being wrong. My question is if I go to a house party at a friend's house (not my own) and smoke/drink but don't have any weed on me and drink very little, can I get in trouble for anything if police are called? Im a vegan and everyone thinks i never eat?

so i just switched from being a vegetarian to a vegan. almost everyone in my family seems to be convinced that i dont eat. my mom thinks i dont eat but instead of just asking me if im eating she gets mad at me and is like "why havent u been eating!? dont start this again." and what she means by dont start this again is that i used to be anerexic and bulimic BUT IM NOT ANYMOREE and she doesnt trust me.noone trust me anymore cuz they always think i still have anerexia or bulimia when i DONT AND I DONT WANT TO HAVE THEM ANYMORE! im a vegan cuz i LOVE ANIMALS and ive seen many videos about what happens in slaughterhouses and i dont want anything to do with dairy or meat anymore. but the thing is..I DO EAT! i just rlly healthy food liek fruits and vegtables and stuff. and plus i run 3 miles everyday and play tennis so im active, and i dont drink sodas except like once a week ill have a diet one, i only drink water, green tea, and redbull. so when i loose wieght or look slimmer its cuz im so active. and i DO eat. i eat a big breakfast usually consisting of 2 big bowls of cherrios with flaxseed dairy-free milk. for lunch ill have like some sort of steamed veggies. and dinner ill wat whatever i can find thats vegan. and for snacks i have pretzals or carrots with vegan hummus and organic salsa. how can i convince my mom and family that even though i am a vegan i stilllllll eatttt and im not anerexic or bulimic anymore? nor do i plan on going down that path again. thx ill give best answer!
